Spoon is a magazine focusing on fine arts, travel and photography in a way that is designed to give readers a hands-on feeling for art by including analyses and critiques. Spoon aims to promote the creation of art and not just the displaying of it.

HISTORY
Spoon was granted associate division status by the VSC Board of Directors and published its first issue during the Spring of 2002. Spoon became a full division in January 2003.

FREQUENCY
Spoon is scheduled to publish four issues during the 2004-05 academic year. The average issue is 32 pages with 2,000 copies printed. It is distributed free at sites on campus.

STAFF
The Spoon staff is comprised of approximately 20 students, including the Editor-in-Chief.

FACILITIES
The Spoon office is located in 135C Sarratt Student Center.
