Slant is a humorous and satirical magazine designed to provide the student body with an alternate way to express concerns. Slant strives to be a casual, humorous, thought-provoking publication.

HISTORY
The Slant was granted associate division status by the VSC Board of Directors in the Spring of 2000 and began publishing on-line in the Fall of 2000. Print editions of The Slant were published beginning in Spring 2001. The Slant became a full division in January 2003.

FREQUENCY
The Slant is scheduled to publish approximately 12 issues during the 2007-08 academic year. The average issue is twelve pages with 4,000 copies printed. It is distributed free at sites on campus.

STAFF
The Slant staff is comprised of approximately 50 students, including the Editor-in-Chief.

FACILITIES
The Slant office is located in 188 Sarratt Student Center.
